Cambridge Heartwear secures NHS framework place

Cambridge Heartwear secures NHS framework place for HeartSense® wearable

Cambridge Heartwear has secured a place on an NHS Supply Chain framework worth up to £184 million, opening a route for healthcare providers to purchase its HeartSense® cardiac monitoring technology. According to Cambridge Science Park, the four-year framework enables NHS Trusts, government organisations and private healthcare providers across the UK to access the wearable, which is designed to support earlier detection of heart conditions such as atrial fibrillation.

For emerging MedTech businesses, securing a procurement route is an important step towards bringing technology into everyday care. The opportunity now lies in translating that access into adoption, supported by clinical evidence, practical implementation and clear value for healthcare providers. HeartSense’s progress highlights the potential for UK-developed wearable technology to make cardiac monitoring more accessible and support earlier clinical intervention.
