Office & Operations Manager
Cure Talent are delighted to be partnered with an emerging wearable medical technology company at a defining stage of its growth. Developing next generation optical monitoring solutions designed to deliver medical grade physiological insights beyond the hospital environment, the business is now transitioning from research and development into industrialisation and regulated market entry.
We have an opportunity for an Office & Operations Manager to join the organisation at a pivotal point in its journey.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a newly created position within a small and ambitious team. The business currently operates with a lean structure, and this role will take ownership of core operational activities that are critical to enabling sustainable growth as headcount increases.
As the Office & Operations Manager, you will act as the central point of coordination across people operations, finance liaison, supplier management and Board administration. A key immediate priority will be owning and professionalising the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring systems, documentation and compliance processes are robust as the company scales.
You will work closely with external HR, IT and accountancy partners, ensuring operational processes run smoothly and leadership has the information and structure required to make informed decisions. In addition, you will support the CEO with preparation of Board papers, minute taking and follow up of action items, helping to establish strong governance foundations during this growth phase.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, building structure and operating independently within a growing, fast paced MedTech environment. There is genuine opportunity for the role to evolve as the organisation expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage employee onboarding and support the full employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate with external HR, IT and finance providers to ensure compliant and efficient business operations.
- Support financial administration and management reporting in collaboration with the external accountancy partner.
- Act as primary liaison for key external suppliers and professional service providers.
- Prepare and distribute Board papers, attend meetings and manage follow up actions.
- Support development of structured internal processes aligned to a regulated medical technology environment.
Experience and Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within an operational management or business support role.
- Experience supporting HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Confidence liaising with external finance providers and supporting financial reporting activities.
- Experience operating within a growing or scaling organisation, ideally within MedTech, healthcare or a regulated environment.
- Strong organisational capability, discretion and the ability to operate independently within a small team.
This is a high impact opportunity within a growing wearable MedTech business where strong operational foundations are essential to scaling successfully. It will suit an organised, proactive professional who enjoys taking ownership and playing a key role in shaping how a business operates as it grows.
