Field Service Engineer

Cure Talent is delighted to partner with a growing medical device organisation as they look to appoint a Medical Device Field Service Engineer to support customers across the South of the UK.

This is a field-based role suited to an engineer who enjoys autonomy, travel, and working closely with customers to deliver high quality service and support on medical equipment.

About the role

You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of medical devices at customer sites across the South of the UK, covering London down to Plymouth. While the focus is the South, there may be occasional cover required for the Northern engineer and some overseas travel.

Key responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of medical devices at customer sites
• Fault finding and diagnostics on electro-mechanical equipment
• Routine preventative maintenance and calibration activities
• Providing product training to customers and distributors, both on site and in house
• Responding to customer service calls and technical queries
• Completing service documentation and reports accurately and on time

Key requirements

• Engineering or technical background
• Experience in a field service or maintenance role
• Medical device experience desirable but not essential
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent customer facing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Location and package

• UK South coverage, London to Plymouth
• Salary £35K per annum
• Company van provided
• Flexible working hours around customer commitments
