Resmed launches AirConnect Dx to help tackle NHS sleep diagnostic backlogs
Med-Tech Insights reports that Resmed has launched AirConnect Dx in the UK, a digital diagnostic pathway designed to help NHS sleep services improve capacity and accelerate diagnosis for patients with suspected obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). The platform integrates referral management, screening, home sleep testing, reporting and patient support into a single coordinated digital service.
According to early NHS pilot evaluations, the solution significantly reduced referral-to-diagnosis times and increased diagnostic capacity using existing staff resources. With demand for sleep diagnostics continuing to rise across the NHS, digital pathways such as AirConnect Dx highlight how connected healthcare technologies can help reduce pressure on overstretched services whilst supporting earlier intervention and improved patient outcomes.
