HSE Process Safety Advisor

Cure Talent is delighted to partner with a global manufacturing company entering a significant growth phase. As part of this, we have a newly created role for a HSE Process Safety Advisor to support ongoing operations and major capital projects across a highly regulated site.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping process safety standards within a complex manufacturing environment, supporting compliance programmes, major hazard management and ensuring the highest standards of safety, risk management and operational readiness across the site.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead COMAH compliance programmes and maintain the Major Accident Prevention Policy
• Manage and improve the site’s COMAH Safety Management System (SMS)
• Oversee DSEAR compliance, including risk assessments and action tracking
• Act as the site SME for process safety, supporting hazard identification and mitigation
• Lead Management of Change (MoC) activities across plant and process changes
• Support commissioning, validation and operational readiness for new processes

What we’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of COMAH and DSEAR regulations within a UK manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a regulated, major hazard or pharmaceutical setting
• Hands-on experience with risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP, LOPA or SIL
• Proven experience managing compliance programmes and risk registers
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Degree in Engineering, Science or similar, plus NEBOSH qualification
